Job Summary

Shamrock Labels is seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our team in O'Fallon, Missouri. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality prints and meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and operate flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality prints
  • Load substrates and mount printing plates to ensure accurate printing
  • Mix and prepare inks to match color specifications and maintain print quality
  • Monitor press operations to ensure quality and consistency, performing regular quality checks and measurements
  • Adjust press settings to maintain color accuracy and print quality, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the press
  • Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations, maintaining detailed production records and documentation
  • Coordinate with team members and communicate issues to supervisors
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to self-motivate and be industrious
  • Ability to read, print, and perform basic math
  • Ability to apply conceptual understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
