Role Overview

The Senior Specialty Solutions Engineer will collaborate closely with sales, delivery, and solution engineering teams to drive customer success through strategic thought leadership and increased awareness of our offerings. This role involves a consultative approach to identify and map solutions that align with business outcomes. Responsibilities may include demonstrating platform capabilities and identifying requirements for innovative application prototypes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative business solutions that facilitate digital transformation for clients.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to assess their needs and articulate the business value of our platform.
  • Design and architect solutions on the platform, both independently and in collaboration with others.
  • Showcase the platform's features and functionalities through live demonstrations.
  • Conduct workshops that may include technical enablement sessions.
  • Act as a thought leader within the community, sharing insights on solution development.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, and delivery teams to translate business challenges into actionable requirements.
  • Excel in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment.
  • Create documentation, pricing structures, and statements of work for clients.
  • Gain familiarity with other technologies that integrate with our platform to provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Maintain pre-sales certifications for various product lines.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in a solution or sales engineering role, or as a consultant in a software environment.
  • Strong functional expertise in the platform across multiple modules.
  • ITIL Foundations v3 or higher certification, or a solid understanding of ITIL principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • A passion for problem-solving and solution-oriented selling.
  • Knowledge of web and mobile app development, business modeling, database concepts, and project management, preferably using Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • In-depth understanding of technical architectures, IT products, and product positioning.
  • ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience with other SaaS platforms such as Tanium, Atlassian, Big Panda, Splunk, Data Dog, and Logic Monitor is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery, and Bootstrap is advantageous.
  • Experience with monitoring solutions, endpoint collection, IoT, machine learning, and emerging technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with web services (e.g., SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML) is beneficial.
  • A college degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
