Job Title: Quality Systems Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Systems Manager to join our team at Gilead Sciences. As a Quality Systems Manager, you will be responsible for capturing and managing Quality Systems enhancements and integrations to various platforms, ensuring timely and effective implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive QA project documentation and reporting
  • Incorporate and coordinate Organizational Change Management strategies, as appropriate
  • Manage the relationships with all internal and external stakeholders throughout project life cycle
  • Measure QA project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Perform and assess risk management to minimize project risks, and escalate project risks to management when needed
  • Monitor overall project portfolios within QA to review improvement ideas, track progress, and communicate project outcomes across the network
  • Guide junior QA staff, fostering a culture of quality excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Demonstrates knowledge in Quality Assurance principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written & oral communications skills
  • Familiarity with tools and practices for project management, stakeholder management and results tracking
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous initiatives and decisively support the organization in crafting an actionable plan for the deliverables
  • Strong sense of urgency to drive projects to completion
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while fostering a dynamic work culture founded on trust and having a proactive mindset
Education and Experience:

6+ years of relevant industry experience and a BS or BA in a science related degree. 4+ years of relevant experience and a MS.

The salary range for this position is: $133,000 - $172,000. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.*
