- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments, promoting effective communication and language development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure a cohesive approach to education.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech and language issues and contributing to informed decision-making.
- Offer consultation services to teachers and staff on speech and language development, enhancing their understanding and support for students.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology, ensuring our team's expertise remains cutting-edge.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a significant advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to supporting students' educational and personal growth, with a focus on fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
