Make a Difference in the Lives of Our Residents

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Resident Care Assistants/Home Health Aides at The Bristal Assisted Living. As a friendly and familiar face to our residents, you will provide hands-on care in a respectful and dignified manner, making a meaningful impact on their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity
  • Escort residents to meals and recreational activities, fostering social connections and a sense of community
  • Support residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being
  • Collaborate with the Wellness team to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents
Qualifications:
  • NY-Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant, or Home Health Aide certification
  • Experience assisting individuals with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Previous experience working with the geriatric population, providing assistance with ADLs
  • Basic understanding of dementia, patience, and professionalism in redirecting residents
  • Ability to adapt to different personality types and situations in a positive manner
  • Reliability, compassion, and a gentle demeanor are essential
