Job Summary

A skilled Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect for all clients and their families.

This is a per diem, flexible schedule opportunity with competitive wages and a unique chance to work with a veteran-owned, locally-operated business dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Administer skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence
  • Implement the nursing care plan for each patient, providing nursing services, treatments, and diagnostic and preventive procedures as assigned
  • Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate, observing signs and symptoms and reporting to the physician and RN reactions to treatments
  • Teach and counsel the patient and family/significant others regarding the nursing care needs and other related problems of the patient at home
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of observations, treatments, and care of patients
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted LPN license in Florida
  • CPR, TB test, AHCA Level 2 background check, and Health Statement/physical clearing to work
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in nursing, preferred
  • Acceptance of philosophy and goals of this Agency
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
