Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our team at Dell Children's Medical Center. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide medical evaluations for children and adolescents suspected of child abuse or neglect, and work closely with social workers, law enforcement, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical evaluations for children and adolescents suspected of child abuse or neglect
  • Collaborate with social workers, law enforcement, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Participate in local and national efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect
  • Supervise and educate advanced practice providers and medical students
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in Child Abuse Pediatrics
  • Current Texas medical license or eligibility
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
