About Us:
Our General Float Pool nurses are assigned to various units including Med/Surg, Ortho, Telemetry, Intermediate Care/Observation, Inpatient Hospice, and Adult Psychiatric care.
As a Float Pool RN, you will acquire new competencies and insights across different units, fostering relationships with diverse staff and managers.
Additionally, our in-house Float Pools provide a float differential alongside competitive pay rates and shift differentials.
We prioritize patient care, evident through our practices such as hourly rounding, bedside reporting, and maintaining manageable nurse-to-patient ratios.
We take pride in being recognized as a Heart and Neurovascular Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a Level II Trauma Center.
Shift Details:
Full-time, NIGHT shifts
Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
We value individuals, not just resumes.
However, we do expect a high standard of excellence, which is why we require:
- ASN/ADN from an accredited institution with the ability to obtain a BSN within four (4) years of hire, unless possessing a minimum of fifteen (15) years of continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care environment.
- Current RN license in Colorado or a compact license with the ability to secure a Colorado RN license.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable to the unit or service).
- At least one (1) year of nursing experience in an acute care inpatient setting.
Physical Requirements:
Continuous need for the employee to see and read information, assess patient needs, operate monitors, and identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions with patients and care providers necessitate effective verbal communication and auditory comprehension, especially in emergency situations.
Manual dexterity is required for operating complex equipment accurately. This includes regular computer use for documenting patient care and accessing information.
Employees must be able to lift and move patients and supplies, often navigating crowded environments and standing for extended periods.
Compensation:
The hourly range for this position is competitive and based on experience.
