As a Loss Prevention Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the profitability of the organization by implementing effective strategies aimed at minimizing external theft, conducting internal investigations, and managing operational shortages.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and identify theft patterns within designated locations.
- Implement theft deterrence strategies, including proactive measures against theft and conducting internal investigations to mitigate risks.
- Develop and execute store awareness initiatives that focus on theft prevention, safety protocols, inventory management, and shortage control.
- Communicate potential shortage risks effectively to all leadership levels.
- Conduct operational audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with store staff to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of integrity and accountability within the store environment.
- Recruit, train, and oversee new Loss Prevention Associates; supervise Loss Prevention Officers and Service Specialists in select locations.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service.
- Represent the company in legal matters as required.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously with initiative.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Capacity to make prompt decisions in the best interest of the organization.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information and investigations.

Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in Loss Prevention, security, law enforcement, or retail environments.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and basic CCTV technology.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software applications.
