**Role Overview: Fabricator I**
We are currently seeking a **Fabricator I** to join our team. This role involves managing inventory, work in progress, and waste materials while applying foundational skills and developing techniques for operating tools and machinery relevant to the fabrication process.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with material handling and job preparation
- Ensure cleanliness of materials before and after assembly
- Perform sanding on materials
- Conduct material handling tasks
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization
- Complete projects according to specifications
- Willingness to learn about products and their characteristics
- Basic understanding of hand tool applications
- Knowledge of proper care and maintenance of hand tools
- Ability to acquire fabrication techniques
- Capacity to follow instructions accurately
- Proficiency in operating saws, routers, drills, and table saws
**Education**
High School Diploma or GED
**Experience**
Minimum of 1 year in a related field
**Physical Requirements**
This position requires continuous physical exertion, including walking, pushing, climbing, and lifting materials or equipment weighing over 50 lbs.
