Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Commercial Services Administrator to join our team at Union Savings Bank. As a key member of our Commercial Services department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Loan Officers and Construction Lending Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Administration
    • Provide support to Commercial Services Account Loan Officers for new loans and renewals
    • Run credit reports and order flood determinations
    • Perform UCC-1 searches, Concord searches, and complete CIP review
    • Work with Loan Officers and/or attorneys to close loans
    • Prepare Commitment Letters for Loan Officer review
    • Review Loan Proposal/Approval forms for CIP and proper approval
    • Prepare loan documents and review for accuracy
    • Ensure all loans are closed in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the loan approval
  • Construction Lending Support
    • Process construction advances received from Construction Lending Manager Loan Officer and forward to Loan Operations
    • Monitor all construction loan advance requests within Commercial Services to ensure timely delivery to Loan Operations for processing
  • Documentation and Review
    • Gather executed documentation and prepare loan set up forms for submission to Loan Operations as necessary
    • Track loan fees and prepare post-closing checklists
    • Follow up on post-closing items and enter HMDA/CRA data in system
    • Forward insurance certificates to Loan Operations for tracking as necessary
    • Scan tax returns and financials to the appropriate mailbox
  • Client Support
    • Follow and uphold USB Customer Service Standards in interactions with internal and external customers
    • Process line of credit renewals for Middle Market, including the preparation of loan approval documents
  • Flood Coordinator
    • Prepare Flood Insurance Worksheets and gather supporting documentation from account officers, review for accuracy and forward to Flood Review Committee for approval
    • Serve as a voting member of the Flood Review Committee
    • Attend monthly Zoom calls hosted by HUB Financial Services for flood updates
    Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial lending or banking environment
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
