Position Summary for CNC Laser and Waterjet Operator:
The primary responsibility of the CNC Laser and Waterjet Operator is to master the operation of our Flow Waterjet and Laser/Fiber CNC Machines. This includes machine operation, programming, and routine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and operation of the Flow Waterjet Machine.
- Setup and operation of Laser/Fiber CNC Machines as required.
- Programming of the Flow Waterjet Machine.
- Performing routine maintenance on the Flow Waterjet Machine.
- Interpreting mechanical drawings and ensuring dimensional accuracy.
- Conducting quality checks on parts using precision measuring tools.
- Operating a forklift as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with Laser/Waterjet machinery is required.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Mechanical aptitude for machine maintenance and repairs.
- Familiarity with mechanical drawings and dimensional analysis is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Commitment to teamwork and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Overtime as required)
