Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Production Operations Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA. As a key member of our team, you'll lead teams of skilled technicians in daily tasks involving spacecraft integration. This is a 100% onsite position, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of our listed location options.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production.
- Provide concurrent engineering support to drive innovation and improvement.
- Define production activities and resolve problems of limited scope to minimize downtime.
- Review and approve technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze charging trends and develop projected manpower forecasts to inform business decisions.
- Assist with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.
- Lead projects and participate in technical research on proposed projects to drive business growth.
- Serve as the primary interface with internal customers to ensure seamless communication.
- Translate data into actionable plans for implementation within the organization.
- Compile and provide management status reports for corrective/preventative action.
- Experience in manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support.
- Experience interpreting and working from blueprints, sketches, and written and verbal instructions in English.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Ability to lift 35lbs.
- Experience in fall protection, confined space, hazardous energy, crane safety, and incident investigations.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESCI).
- Experience working in teams/work groups.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Typical education/experience: Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Security Clearance and Export Control RequirementsThis position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A Final U.S. secret clearance Prestart or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
RelocationThis position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
