Job Title: HVAC/R Instructor

Job Summary:

TCAT-Hartsville is seeking a qualified HVAC/R instructor to join our team. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching related practical and theoretical instruction in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver curriculum for HVAC/R programs
  • Provide individualized instruction to students
  • Maintain good public relations with business and industry
  • Cooperate with outside agencies
  • Remain current in the HVAC/R profession

Requirements:

  • High School or GED
  • Associate Degree and teaching experience preferred
  • Minimum of five years in residential and/or commercial HVAC/R field
  • Evidence of proficiency in oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and planning skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience
  • EPA Universal Certification

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, team player who is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. Hours and days will vary.
