Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for providing direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care plans for assigned patients on a per-shift basis. As a member of our Endoscopy Unit team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. You will also be responsible for supervising staff and supporting the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring competency and resource management related to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessing Patient Needs:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans to address these needs and promote optimal outcomes.

Providing High-Quality Care:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes or complications promptly.

Supervising Staff:

• Supervise and mentor registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.

• Provide guidance and support to help them develop their careers and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Massachusetts.

• Experience working in an endoscopy unit or similar setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

• A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
