Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including contract execution, amendments, renewals, and terminations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and product development, to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Contract Guidance: Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
  • Contract Efficiency: Maintain contract templates and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Legal Research and Development: Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in at least one state required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in the technology industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management skills, detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality, self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with contract management software.
