Job Opportunity

Powerlink is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our Foodservice Operations team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of food service to our residents.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, production control, and inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
  • Support dietary cooks in food preparation and presentation.
  • Perform general sanitation and cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and taking out trash.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience.
  • Minimum one year of food service experience.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays with varying hours.
  • Background in safety and sanitation compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current ServSafe certification or Food Handler certification.
  • Experience working in long-term care environments.
