Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to physicians during heart and vascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and perform diagnostic invasive procedures in the heart and vascular labs.
  • Provide care for patients prior, during, and after procedures.
  • Scrubs and assists physicians with diagnostic and invasive procedures.
  • Respond to patient distress situations and assists with equipment quality control and inventory management.
  • Prepare sterile trays, instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for procedures, and maintains sterile field.
Requirements
  • Certificate Program Diploma from an accredited school of Cardiovascular/Radiology Technology.
  • 5 years of Cardiovascular, Vascular Interventional, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, or Neuro Interventional experience.
  • Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist, Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, Registered Technologist-Cardiac Interventional Radiology - ARRT, Registered Technologist-Vascular Interventional Radiology - ARRT, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.
Working Environment

This role requires standing, walking, sitting, carrying/lifting, pushing/pulling, kneeling/crouching, reaching, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination. Occupational hazards and bloodborne pathogen exposure are possible.
