Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer to join our team at DispatchHealth Imaging. As a Mobile Echo technologist, you will travel locally to diagnose patients in their own homes or at a facility, providing high-quality echocardiography services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiography studies for patients in various settings, including private residences, senior care facilities, and correctional facilities.
  • Operate portable ultrasonic equipment with cardiac capabilities at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
  • Process images and review for proper identification and quality control, transmitting them to cardiologists in a timely manner.
  • Complete all forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed according to standard protocols.
  • Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading cardiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.
Requirements:
  • Meet all state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification, and state license to perform echocardiography studies.
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Have a working knowledge of other departmental procedures and equipment.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and demonstrate basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
