Job Summary:

Primus Metals Inc is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team in Reisterstown, MD. As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication of tight tolerance sheet metal panels, brackets, covers, enclosures, etc. using various metalworking techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Amada Turret brakes and punches
Operate Mitsubishi laser cutter
Cut, bend and shape sheet metal to the required dimensions
Use prior experience of layout, pattern drafting and setup of CNC machines
Effectively communicate with Supervisor and/or team
Maintain shop cleanliness
Operate various hand tools
Assemble parts according to blueprints

Requirements:

2+ years of brake and punch operation
Fundamental GD&T understanding
Computer experience
Manual machining experience (mill and lathe)
Setup experience with Amada punch and brake
Familiarity with Amada Brake NC control units
Previous CNC Operator experience is preferred but we'll train the right individual
Experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing lean manufacturing techniques is preferred
Knowledge of machining principles, GD&T print reading, measuring tools is preferred
