We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Synerfac.
As a key member of our maintenance team, you will provide technical support and repair on industrial equipment for our paper machine and converting operations.
This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment. You will work closely with our production team to ensure smooth operations and maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support to all areas of the plant and assist in developing a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.
- Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance in support of manufacturing production.
- Read, interpret, and update mechanical blueprints and schematics for installation of new equipment and to troubleshoot existing equipment.
- Maintain records applicable to the job such as failure reporting, equipment files, and equipment modifications.
- Use CMMS to obtain spare parts, retrieve work order information, and generate new work orders.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Technical certification in Maintenance field preferred.
- 2 years in manufacturing, industrial maintenance or equivalent education (Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance certification).
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Mechanical or Electrical aptitude.
- Good documentation skills and practices communication and interpersonal skills.
