Position: Medical Reception Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and register patients upon their arrival
- Confirm patient details and insurance eligibility
- Organize appointments and oversee the scheduling calendar
- Manage incoming calls and route them to the correct department or personnel
- Assist patients with registration and completion of intake documents
- Collect co-payments and handle payment processing
- Maintain and update patient records accurately
- Collaborate with medical personnel to ensure efficient patient flow
- Address inquiries and provide essential information regarding clinic services
Work Schedule:
- Flexibility to work in multiple locations, including extended shifts
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical reception role or similar position is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is advantageous
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in utilizing phone systems and software for scheduling and record management
