Position Summary
The Floor Technician is tasked with executing floor maintenance duties as directed by management. Delivering quality service to customers is paramount. A commitment to learning all facets of the role is essential.

Role Requirements
Experience:
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in floor maintenance is required, or successful completion of the GCE Floor Care Certification Training within the first 90 days.

  • Ability to follow multi-step instructions.
  • Effective interaction with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.
  • Capability to safely perform essential job functions.
  • Must pass organizational screening requirements, including state or federal background checks as applicable.

Physical Requirements
Travel to different locations and buildings may be necessary throughout the year and in varying weather conditions. Most duties will be performed indoors. Exposure to cleaning chemicals is expected. Compliance with Emergency Operations Work Assignments per customer requirements is mandatory. Schedules may vary and could include early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekends, and holidays.

While executing job responsibilities, team members will frequently need to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach overhead, sit (for driving), and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. Occasionally, lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds may be required.
