Position Summary
The Floor Technician is tasked with executing floor care responsibilities as directed by management. Delivering quality service to customers is paramount. A commitment to learning all facets of the role is essential.
Role Requirements
Experience:
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in floor care is required, or successful completion of the GCE Floor Care Certification Training within the first 90 days.
- Ability to follow multi-step instructions.
- Effective interaction with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Capability to safely perform essential functions as outlined.
- Compliance with organizational screening requirements, including background checks as necessary.
Physical Requirements
Travel may be necessary to various locations and buildings throughout the year, often in diverse weather conditions. Most tasks will be conducted indoors, and the role may involve working with cleaning chemicals. Adherence to Emergency Operations Work Assignments as per customer specifications is required. Schedules may vary, necessitating early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
While performing the duties of this position, the team member will frequently need to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach overhead, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds. Occasionally, lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds may be required.
The mental and physical demands, along with environmental factors described, represent the requirements necessary for successful performance of the essential functions of this role.
