Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of our hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, as well as managing preventive maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment
  • Conduct preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in hotel, resort, commercial, or institutional maintenance environment
  • HVAC, plumbing, or electrical skills
  • Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper
  • Certification in pool operation preferred
  • Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Preventive maintenance background preferred
  • Read, write, and understand English
