Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department. This includes conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- One year of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
