Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly qualified individual to provide communication access services for deaf or hard-of-hearing students in a high school setting.
Responsibilities- Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) or another required sign system and vice versa.
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers in various settings, including classrooms, assemblies, meetings, and extracurricular activities.
- Provide support to deaf or hard-of-hearing students to ensure they understand instructions, assignments, and educational content.
- Work collaboratively with the school community to promote inclusive education.
- Bachelor's Degree focusing in American Sign Language or a related field.
- Completed EIPA and/or RID certification.
- 401k matching.
