Job Title: Server

Job Summary:
Gringo's Tex-Mex is seeking a skilled Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet guests, making them feel comfortable and valued.
  • Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver orders to guests in a timely manner.
  • Prepare final bills, present checks to guests, and process payments.
  • Perform side work as required by management and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests and feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow servers and other team members to ensure seamless service.

Requirements:
  • Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively present information to customers and team members.
  • Ability to operate a computer point-of-sale system and maintain accurate records.
  • Exceptional hygiene and grooming habits, as well as a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification are required.

Physical Demands:
  • Constant standing and walking, with occasional stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasional working in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for extended periods.
  • Constant receiving detailed information through oral communication and constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
