Senior Microelectronics Engineer

Job Summary:
Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microelectronics Engineer to support an exciting and ongoing microelectronics effort with the Air Force Research Laboratory on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.
- Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.
- Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.
- Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors, and company representatives.
- Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.
Requirements:
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Master's in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Requirements:
- Direct experience with microelectronics testing and evaluation equipment outlined in the job description.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- May require working in an industrial or shipboard environment.
- Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
- May encounter extremes of temperature, pollution, humidity, noise, and other environmental factors while collecting data, observing performance of task teams.
