Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and consolidate both customer and internal product specifications
  • Establish comprehensive testability criteria and develop testing documentation
  • Interpret and assess product schematics and technical drawings
  • Design or update test stand system schematics, wiring diagrams, and hardware layouts
  • Conduct failure analysis and support corrective actions for products
  • Oversee test stand development initiatives with suppliers and validate complete functionality
  • Compile and present test result reports internally and to clients
  • Develop testing protocols, user manuals, and provide training for engineers and technicians on test equipment
  • Assist with validation testing and setup outside of the laboratory as required
  • Architect test systems and integrate LabVIEW automation with hardware testing methodologies
  • Demonstrate knowledge in real-time embedded systems, message architecture, and signal processing
  • Enhance and adapt LabVIEW software for testing modules, battery management systems (BMS), and battery packs
  • Create and refine sophisticated TestStand and VerStand automated software solutions
  • Execute, troubleshoot, and optimize TestStand and VerStand automated software
  • Resolve complex test code discrepancies and analyze expected outcomes
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is essential
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive design, software development, product design, or product testing
  • At least 3 years of experience in LabVIEW/TestStand software development is required
Essential Skills:
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities
  • Thorough understanding of electronic systems at the circuit board level
  • Technical proficiency in identifying and resolving issues
  • Expertise in real-time embedded development, message structure, and signal processing
