We are looking for committed Maintenance Specialists to carry out essential cleaning operations within the public zones of SEATAC Airport, which includes three terminals. Key duties involve ensuring cleanliness in areas frequented by the public, such as seating zones, restrooms, lounges, lobbies, hallways, and gate areas for arrivals and departures.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly empty waste receptacles and ashtrays.
  • Dust and perform spot cleaning on various surfaces.
  • Care for furniture, desktops, telephones, and glass surfaces.
  • Maintain upholstered surfaces and conduct basic floor servicing, including buffing, sweeping, and vacuuming.
  • Clean fixtures, floors, and walls thoroughly.

Members of the Special Projects team will be tasked with additional responsibilities such as window cleaning, sanitizing seating areas, cleaning waste bins, and performing heavy lifting or moving of furniture.

Shift Details

Positions are available for both Day (5:30am - 2:00pm) and Night (9:30pm - 6:30am) shifts. This is a long-term, full-time position with opportunities for advancement into roles such as lead, supervisor, or management.

Employment Type

This role is classified as Contract-to-Hire, with an initial duration of 4 months before potential direct hire.

Work Environment

The position is entirely on-site at SEATAC Airport, working within the main terminal or secure areas across various terminals. Employees will typically work five days a week with two consecutive days off, unless otherwise specified. The role involves considerable walking with a cleaning cart, along with sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.

Parking and Reimbursement

Parking options include offsite facilities, transit, or employee parking in designated areas after obtaining necessary credentials. Parking expenses may be reimbursed up to $80 per month with appropriate receipts.
