About the Role:
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing construction and agricultural equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment meets safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with construction and agricultural equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
- Verify that equipment meets all safety standards
- Test and clean machinery
- Assist other technicians as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience working with construction and agricultural equipment
- Graduate of a technical school or equivalent
- Ability to attain a MA 2A/1C hoisting license or higher
- Ability to attain a DOT medical card
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to comprehend service manuals and testing equipment
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Proficient in the use of mobile devices and computers
