Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Amery Hospital & Clinic. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic's reception and scheduling processes. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating patient appointments, checking in patients, and performing related reception and scheduling duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate patient appointments and scheduling duties
- Check in patients and perform related reception duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors

Requirements

- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

- Completion of a position-related 2-year program, such as Medical Administrative Specialist or Medical Office Specialist
- Experience in the EPIC computer system
- Experience working with healthcare insurance
