Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Newark, Delaware. As a Pharmacy Technician at ChristianaCare, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe dispensing of medications to our patients.

About the Role
  • Fills patient prescriptions, including data entry, insurance billing, and labeling and packaging for pharmacist verification
  • Assists pharmacists in providing timely and effective pharmaceutical care to patients
  • Makes medication credit and charge adjustments via the computer system
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous outpatient pharmacy experience is preferred
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is required unless enrolled in a PharmD program
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $53,000-$65,000, depending on experience.
