Painter II

At Albany International, we are seeking a skilled Painter II to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a Painter II, you will be responsible for painting aircraft interior, exterior, and piece parts, as well as preparing surfaces for painting by masking, stripping, and washing.

• Prepares and assembles commercial and military aircraft products
• Mixes adhesives, paint, or resin systems and applies them to piece parts
• Repairs surface blemishes according to written instructions
• Operates power tools, sanders, drills, paint guns, routers, sand blasters, and other applicable tools
• Maintains order and cleanliness in the assembly/finishing area

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Proficiency in shop mathematics and ability to calculate resin ratios
• Skill in comprehending and implementing verbal and written instructions from supervisors and engineering orders
• Familiarity with operating trimming equipment, cutters, grinders, and drills
• Capability to read and interpret blueprints
• Adept manual dexterity to carry out intricate tasks with precision
• Status as a US Person, as required for Department of Defense Contractor positions
