Aircraft Painter II Job Description

At Albany International, we are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter II to join our team in the production of advanced composite aerospace structures, subassemblies, and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assemble commercial and military aircraft products, including mixing adhesives, paint, or resin systems, and applying them to piece parts.
  • Repair surface blemishes and maintain order and cleanliness in the assembly/finishing area.
  • Operate power tools, sanders, drills, paint guns, routers, sand blasters, and other applicable tools to manufacture and assemble aircraft parts.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Proficiency in shop mathematics and the ability to calculate resin ratios.
  • Ability to comprehend and implement verbal and written instructions from supervisors and engineering orders.
  • Familiarity with operating trimming equipment, cutters, grinders, and drills to achieve precise part dimensions.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints and maintain accurate work.
  • Adept manual dexterity to carry out intricate tasks with precision.
