About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Brokerage & Partner Operations team at Redfin Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our employee and partner agents as they help customers navigate one of life's most significant transitions - buying or selling a home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with analysts to develop and deploy comprehensive Tableau dashboards that provide actionable insights to our business leaders, driving strategic decision-making and long-term growth.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve our Tableau and ETL processes, ensuring seamless integration with systems used by multiple teams, including Airflow, Tableau Cloud, and R Shiny Server.
  • Partner with Real Estate Operations, Partner Operations, Product Management, Finance, and Program Management teams to build reports that inform business decisions and drive data-driven strategies.
  • Utilize your technical, artistic, and business expertise to enhance our operations' analytical capabilities and make our analytics more valuable.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a Tableau dashboard building role in a business context, with a strong background in operations data, contractor management, performance metrics, and customer routing.
  • Advanced Tableau skills, with experience in working with Airflow, R Shiny, or similar scheduled data processing technologies.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with ETLs in R and/or Python.
  • Ability to design and build clear, concise, and informative dashboards for multiple audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate between multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science Operations, Research, Economics, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.
