We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Relations Specialist to join our team at Compass Health Network. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct contact with patients on a daily basis, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform in-person and telephone reception duties, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, and handling cash and balancing assigned cash bags.
  • Schedule and register appointments for patients according to established procedures, communicating with other offices as needed.
  • Perform general office/clerical duties, including answering multi-phone systems, preparing patient documents, and facilitating incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain front office inventory and keep storage areas organized.
  • Prepare patient charts and determine financial and insurance eligibility status prior to each encounter.
  • Prepare receipts for patient payments received and balance payments daily.
  • Assure the readiness of the reception area for each working day, opening the building at the designated time and having all front desk activities operational at the start of business hours.
  • Secure the building at the close of each working day, turning off appliances and locking all entrances.
  • Assist with pre-certifications and referrals, and direct patients to the appropriate individual or department as needed.
  • Participate in staff and educational meetings.
Requirements
  • High School/GED preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service required.
