Opportunity:

We are in search of a skilled and imaginative Visual Communications Specialist to join our team at Life Surge. In this role, you will be essential in crafting visually appealing marketing materials that promote our events, enhance brand visibility, and boost ticket sales. Your creative output will be vital in capturing the interest of our target audience and conveying the unique experiences our events provide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce striking and persuasive graphic designs for various marketing platforms, including digital ads, social media visuals, printed materials, event signage, and promotional items.
  • Ensure all designs comply with our brand standards and maintain consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate innovative concepts that effectively showcase each event, emphasizing key details, speakers, performers, and unique features.
  • Utilize design elements, typography, and imagery to narrate a compelling visual story that resonates with the target audience and encapsulates the essence of each event.
  • Oversee multiple design projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and adhere to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director, marketing team, and other stakeholders to comprehend project requirements, gather feedback, and implement necessary revisions.
  • Stay informed about design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, integrating innovative ideas into your work.
  • Employ photography and image editing skills to enhance marketing materials.
  • Prepare designs for print, ensuring that artwork is print-ready and meets industry specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating a diverse array of design work, including both digital and print marketing materials. Experience in event marketing or B2C retail is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant graphic design tools.
  • Strong grasp of design principles, layout, typography, and color theory.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch designs.
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player with outstanding communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
