Job Title: Project Mobility Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobility Project Engineer to join our team at WGI Inc. As a key member of our Mobility team, you will be responsible for working on complex multimodal transportation planning and engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct multimodal operations assessments
  • Develop complete streets planning, operations, and design
  • Prepare signing and striping, traffic signal, and temporary traffic control design drawings
  • Prepare presentations and public outreach materials
  • Conduct site visits and field data collection
  • Report issues and concerns to supervisors and provide recommendations for resolution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in planning, engineering, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in related field
  • Specific interest and/or experience in multimodal transportation planning/engineering, traffic operations analysis, and/or related niche within transportation and/or mobility

Work Environment:

Work is performed in an office setting. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Use of a telephone headset will allow for virtual communication with team members through Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams.
