Job SummaryThe client is looking for a certified instructor to teach Red Cross CPR, AED, First Aid (Adult & Pediatric) and BLS for the in-person skills portion of a blended learning class. These classes will take place in the conference room at the client's office.
Responsibilities- Conduct CPR, AED, First Aid and BLS training classes for groups.
- Teach participants how to respond to emergency situations and administer lifesaving techniques.
- Provide instruction on proper techniques for bandaging wounds, treating burns, and managing other common injuries.
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment in the classroom.
- Utilize effective teaching methods to ensure participants understand and retain the information.
- Demonstrate proper procedures and techniques for performing CPR, using AEDs, and providing first aid.
- Evaluate participants' performance during practical exercises and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay up to date with current guidelines and best practices in CPR, first aid, and emergency response.
- Perform necessary reporting and administrative duties.
- Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate information to a diverse audience.
- Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with participants and create a positive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage class schedules, materials, and documentation.
