Respiratory Therapist RRT

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
About the RoleThe Respiratory Therapist RRT coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
- Perform a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
- Apply and operate acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
- Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider required
- Graduate of Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
