POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role entails performing essential maintenance tasks within a designated section of the manufacturing facility during the night shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Construct, maintain, and evaluate mechanical systems, machinery, and components.
  • Identify machinery requiring new or replacement components.
  • Apply mathematical skills to execute assignments effectively.
  • Interpret technical drawings to accurately adjust, maintain, or repair equipment.
  • Address production area requests regarding mechanical issues with equipment.
  • Collaborate with production management and staff to diagnose and resolve potential mechanical challenges.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Complete assigned tasks with precision and resourcefulness.
  • Maintain equipment as per the preventive maintenance schedule established by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Execute demand maintenance repairs and adjustments in the designated operational area.
  • Make necessary calibrations and adjustments to guarantee optimal equipment performance.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial manufacturing machinery is essential.
  • Basic mathematical skills are required for the role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Understanding of both standard and metric measurement systems.
  • Willingness to work designated shifts, including some weekends.
