Job Overview

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled and experienced Security Systems Specialist to join their team in Tampa, FL. This is a long-term opportunity to work with a leading provider of security and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and service residential security systems, including CCTV, surveillance cameras, access control systems, card readers, and wireless keypads.
  • Program security systems, such as Brivo, CCTV, IP Cameras, and Fire alarm systems.
  • Perform low-voltage wiring and circuit work.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience installing and servicing residential security systems, with specific panel and programming experience preferred with Honeywell, DSC, Ademco, Concord, and GE panels.
  • 1+ years of experience installing and servicing CCTV systems, including IP Cameras and Networking (VLan's, wireless networks, etc.).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Nice to have: FASA BASA Certification and NICET certifications.

Compensation:

$18-$28/hr or more depending on experience, with bonus potential on top of hourly rate.
