Job Summary:
As a Mental Health Technician at Universal Health Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the clinical treatment team in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment by observing and documenting patient behavior.
  • Conduct patient room searches, report unsafe conditions, and provide emotional and physical support.
  • Utilize patient activity schedules, unit rules, and group structure to maintain consistency in the milieu.

Requirements:
An associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, two years of experience in healthcare or behavioral health can substitute for formal education. As a mental health professional, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $43,000-$55,000, depending on location and experience.
