Job Summary:

The Echocardiograph Technician will provide high-quality Echo imaging services in our Hospital and Clinic settings. Studies performed include 2-D and 3-D echo exams, Transesophageal Echocardiography, exercise and pharmacologic Stress echocardiograms, and participation in Echo's performed during procedures in the Heart and Vascular Center.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiac ultrasound exams using advanced technology and techniques.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in cardiac ultrasound procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Cardiac ultrasound experience and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or eligible required.
  • Current CPR-BLS certification required.
  • Candidates with cardiac ultrasound experience who are not RDCS, RCS, or eligible will be considered for appointment at a commensurate salary, and will be required to obtain registration within one year of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in related health field.
Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm Rotating Weekends and Holiday Call rotation
