Job Overview

Position Summary:

Under the guidance of a radiologist or supervisor, the Radiologic Imaging Specialist conducts radiographic examinations at a technical level that does not necessitate constant oversight. This role involves a variety of technical tasks that require independent judgment, creativity, and initiative to utilize prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging. The specialist takes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as needed and may have individual accountability for specific radiographic tasks, including instruction of students and leading duties.

Sign-On Bonus: Available to external candidates in accordance with Sutter Health policy.

Qualifications:

Education:
Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.

Other: Successful completion of formal radiologic technology training from an AMA accredited institution.

Certification & Licensure:

CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist

RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy

ARRT - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Preferred Experience:

Proficient in components of radiographic practice as deemed adequate by the Assistant Director.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $56.22 to $71.65 per hour. The salary range may vary based on location and is not adjusted for geographic differentials.
