We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Labor and Delivery department at Medical City Plano. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and overseeing the daily operations of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and department efficiency.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Manage department budgets and resources to ensure effective use of personnel and supplies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain expertise and provide education to staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Current Texas State RN license or Compact license accepted.
- National Certification or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire/transfer required.
- BLS/ACLS certification as required by individual department.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing management position.
Medical City Plano is a 600+ bed acute care hospital that provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Plano and Collin County communities.
