Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, taking into account the unique needs and requirements of pediatric patients.
- Clinical Judgment: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members to identify potential nursing diagnoses and develop effective care plans.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient information, including nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Interventions and Revisions: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies, and revise the plan of care as needed based on evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrate clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs, establish priorities, and work collaboratively with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Education and Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
- Health Certificate and PPD: Current Health Certificate and PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- CPR Certification: Current BLS card.
- Experience: One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
- Specialized Skills: Pediatric, G-tube.
- Work Schedule: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, with flexibility to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 9:30p - 5:30a.
