Job Title: QA/QC Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Manager to join our team at Mechanical Solutions Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the project-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan, ensuring strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the project-specific QA/QC Plan with scopes of work and work procedures.
  • Implement project-specific QA/QC Plan in coordination with the project safety plan.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that the project-specific QA/QC Plan delivers a fully compliant project.
  • Conduct testing and inspections and arrange for third-party testing and inspections. Analyze and report the results.
  • Expand the development of the Plan as the project progresses as appropriate to expand the program by continually improving procedures.

Requirements:

  • A degree in mechanical engineering or construction management preferred.
  • Design Build and job site experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.
  • Familiarity with construction practices and operations is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and vendors.
  • Ability to negotiate and track change orders with both owners and subcontractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time.
  • Ability to meet sensitive timelines.
